What's a Vuv?

Thankfully, “new” people are tuning into the VuvClub.com and they are asking me, “What’s a Vuv?”

And I really just want to answer by saying to those people, “Sit down with a glass of wine or a sleeve of oreos and milk and start reading from blog post # 1, dated April 27, 2008, because I have been answering that question in different ways since then,”……….

But, I know you're all busy people, so I welcome you and invite you to visit thevuvclub.com archives and I dedicate this, my blog version of Vuv Club Cliff’s notes, to my new friends who have joined and are joining thevuvclub.com along the way.

I’ll start with my premise: Our Vuvs skew our ideas, our perceptions, our emotions and opinions and draw us together. Women are unique and fascinating and intriguing and, quite obviously, different than men and I believe our need to connect with others whose Vuv-ish thoughts are on our same wavlength and frequency drives us to find refuge and peace and pure fun in our very own Vuv Clubs. Simply, men celebrate thinking with their "you-know-whats" and thevuvclub.com is a place where I want to celebrate the power of the Vuv!

What? You still don't know what a Vuv is?

It’s an awesome word for the anatomical differentiator that makes a woman. It’s going to obliterate “vah-jay-jay,” and it’s origin was, simply, that one of my Vuvs could not say the word “va__na” (This is prime time people....rhymes with "Carolina").

The word is also used in my circle of friends, my circle of life as an affectionate name for the most influential women in my life, the women that comprise my Vuv Club. Got it? If you are a woman you have a Vuv, if you have a Vuv, you can be called a Vuv.

Now, why the Vuv Club?

Who are the Vuvs that are bearing witness to your life?

Who are you sharing your Vuv-ish thoughts and ideas on relationships, life, love, motherhood, parenting and whatever else pops into your head?

I have been fortunate enough to find my VuvClub, a group that shares with me, nurtures me and inspires me and I have this crazy idea that sharing my Vuv-ish thoughts with all of you may inspire even just one of you to:

Laugh or to cry or to find your Vuvs if you haven't already, open new dialogues with the "ones you've got," ......or maybe to better appreciate the Vuvs in your life, improve relationships, open yourself up to meeting new Vuvs.....or simply to comfort you in knowing that you are already a part of a big giant group that often thinks and feels the same way you do......

Welcome to THEVUVCLUB.COM!!!!

Please send me your topic ideas.
